Forces loyal to Libyan National Army (LNA) leader General Khalifa Haftar have made advances in their offensive on Tripoli, which is the capital of Libya’s UN-backed government. Haftar is allied to a rival government in Libya’s eastern city of Tobruk, which has refused to cede power to Tripoli.
