Spot LNG prices for October delivery in Asia have risen to around $11.5/MMBtu. However, further gains will be constrained by new supply, including that from Australia and Russia, which will hit the market this winter.
European hub prices have been supported by restrictions in supply as planned and unplanned maintenance have restricted flows into the region. Prices are expected to be vulnerable to volatility this winter, with the NBP month-ahead around 72 p/th at the middle of September.
