Cookies that we set on our website

The following lists what cookies we set when you visit our website:

Session cookies
We use session cookies to facilitate your movement around the website. These are stored only for the duration of your visit to the website and are deleted from your device once you close the browser.

ifx_anonuser, ifx_visitorid
This cookie collects general information about how non-subscribers use our website including what pages are being viewed, the device they are using, their IP address and their approximate location. All information these cookies collect is aggregated and therefore anonymous. This cookie expires after two years.

This cookie is used to identify users who have an active subscription and have signed in to the website. It remembers your login details so that you can return to the website without having to log in again. This cookie expires after two years or if you explicitly log out, whichever occurs first.

The EU cookie directive requires websites to obtain consent from visitors before storing cookies on their device. To comply with this directive, you will see a pop-up message when you first visit interfaxenergy.com, asking you to provide such consent. If you accept, we’ll save this cookie to prevent this message from appearing on subsequent visits to the website. This cookie expires after two years.

We use a small script to check whether cookies have been enabled on your device by creating a cookie which is deleted immediately once the script has run.

Third-party cookies

Third-party cookies are set by partners that we use for different services. The collection and use of information by these companies is governed by their relevant privacy policies and is not covered by our privacy policy.

Google Analytics
Google Analytics allows us to measure how users interact with website content and monitor traffic, so we can measure and improve the performance of the site. All information these cookies collect is aggregated and therefore anonymous. We do not allow Google to use or share our analytics data.

_ga, _gid
These cookies are used to identify each unique user to the website and the details of each page visited by using a unique, randomly generated string as a client identifier and is updated with each page view. _ga expires after 2 years and _gid expires after 24 hours.

This cookie is used to throttle the request rate – limiting the collection of analytics data on high traffic sites – and expires after 10 minutes.

If you would like to opt out of these Analytics cookies, please visit https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Font Awesome
Font Awesome is an online library of vector icons and social logos, which we have integrated with the layout of our website. When you visit our website, Font Awesome uses a content delivery network to load the icons requested by the page that you are visiting and collects data about what icon files you have downloaded and when.

The data collected is used to optimise their content delivery networks, diagnose and debug technical errors and compile statistics on icon popularity and the kinds of software and computers the visitor is using. All cookies expire after 2 years.
