Europe’s major economies are forecast to see lower growth this year which will limit gas demand.
Germany’s economy is forecast to expand by 0.7% in 2019, a material drop from the 1.4% expansion seen last year. Weakened growth is also forecast in France and Italy. France’s GDP is forecast to grow by 1.3%, while Italy’s economy will contract by 0.2%.
