Failure to adopt CNG leads to gridlock in Delhi

India’s Supreme Court briefly enforced a ban on diesel taxis operating in New Delhi at the beginning of May, saying taxi owners should have converted to CNG by the end of April.

However, forcing diesel taxis to convert to CNG will increase demand for gas, according to Kavan Mukhtyar, Partner-Advisory, PwC India.
