Bearish on LNG prices

Trinidad and Tobago’s LNG exports are expected to remain under pressure in the next few years from declining domestic gas production and falling demand in Latin America. LNG is a vital source of state revenue, however, and this has forced Trinidad to look for new customers as far afield as Asia Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East and Africa. This trend will define the country’s LNG export strategy over the next few years.
