Indonesia to start small-scale gas-to-power project

The world’s first small-scale floating regasification unit (FRU) is preparing to start up in Bali, but a lack of compatible LNG carriers could spell trouble for the project.

The FRU was delivered late last week to Benoa Port, from where it will supply fuel for a 200 MW power plant to meet the island’s electricity demand.
