
A series of petitions opposing the terms of the Leviathan gas project have drawn an unprecedented legal response from the Israeli government, but the project’s developers remain impassive.
Responding to complaints by Israel’s Zionist Union, among others, that the country’s proposed gas framework was overly favourable to developers Noble Energy and Delek Group, the country’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made his debut in the country’s Supreme Court on Sunday to defend the new legislation.
