It’s hard to get excited about energy conservation. Talk of resisting the urge to crank up the heating or air conditioning often sends Wildcat to sleep.

Achieving greater energy efficiency through better planning and technology, on the other hand, is fascinating. And it’s vital for countries such as Iran that waste far too much of their natural resources on inefficient plants.
