Charter rates for LNG tankers are set to rise because sellers are being forced to look further afield to market their cargoes, experts have said.

Longer journeys will tighten the shipping market, Michael Newman, a shipbroker at Fearnleys LNG, told the LNGgc 2016 conference in London last week.
