European hub prices dip after a week of gains

The NBP day-ahead was around 33 p/th on Tuesday, having fallen by more than 1 p/th from Monday. Gains were seen through much of last week, as fundamentals supported prices. However, demand weakened in the UK on Tuesday, putting pressure on prices. Strong output from wind generation hit the requirement for gas-fired power and milder weather also reduced heating-related demand.
