It is an oversimplification to split the LNG market into neat winners and losers as a result of the oil price rout. However, the bear market has had obvious Darwinian consequences in Colombia.

The country’s first LNG terminal is scheduled to start up in Cartagena in late 2016, but an FLNG project proposed to be sited nearby appears dead and buried.
