Shandong Kerui Group, one of China’s leading private manufacturers of oilfield equipment , is diversifying into training and education for the hydrocarbon sector in a bid to tap budding demand for affordable skilled Chinese employees in developing and emerging economies.

The company has co-founded an institute for training in oil and gas industry technologies in the city of Dongying, Shandong province, in partnership with the local Dongying Technician School and Sinopec Shengli Training School – owned by Shengli Oilfield, Sinopec’s largest oil subsidiary.
