Ghana could still need two LNG terminals even after domestic gas production from its offshore Sankofa and Tweneboa-Enyenra-Ntomme (TEN) fields come online, the acting minister of power told journalists on Wednesday.

"[We haven’t made the decision yet] for only one LNG [terminal]. That’s a decision for the country and we believe that we probably will need more than one LNG [terminal]. We have two main power hubs, one in the west, one in the east, and so nothing prevents us from putting in two LNG facilities; one [in the] west and one [in the] east," John Abdulai Jinapor said at a press conference at the Africa Energy Summit in London.
