The recent spate of attacks on Nigeria’s oil and gas infrastructure looks unlikely to ease, a situation analysts say could significantly harm the country’s appeal as an investment destination for oil and gas majors.

Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari appears to have neither the will nor the means to meet the demands of the Niger Delta Avengers (NDA) – the militant group that has been targeting energy facilities since its formation in February.
