Kuwait is facing rising gas-to-power demand amid increasing consumption from industry and the oil and gas sector. This is tightening Kuwait’s gas supplies at a time when the country is already dependent on LNG imports. The government is therefore keen to move ahead with plans to boost Kuwait’s LNG import capacity and increase domestic gas production.
