Long-term LNG contracts are set to become increasingly flexible as the excess of supply in the market puts buyers in a stronger position to dictate terms.

Howard Miller, manager of gas and LNG at consultancy Lyndon Energy, has said there are a number of different ways buyers and sellers can renegotiate the terms of their long-term contracts to make them more attractive.
