Chevron to pull out of Ukrainian shale gas project

US supermajor Chevron has withdrawn from a project to develop Ukraine’s Oleske deposit, Deputy Chief of the Ukrainian Presidential Administration Valeriy Chaly has confirmed.

”The information that they are planning to make such a decision exists,” he told a press conference in Kiev on Monday, when asked by journalists to confirm the reports.
