Ukraine is attempting to revive an old project to build the country’s first LNG terminal at Odessa on the Black Sea. However, geopolitical hurdles have so far prevented the project from going ahead.

The FSRU-based terminal would be located at the port of Reni in southeastern Ukraine, close to the border with Moldova.
