Local city gas distribution firm Shenzhen Gas Group received its first LNG cargo at its small-scale terminal in the southern Chinese city of Shenzhen on Sunday, marking the start of official operations after five years of construction.
Shenzhen Gas, a Shanghai-listed subsidiary of local government-owned Shenzhen Energy Group, did not disclose the source of the cargo, but a promotional video on the company’s social media shows the LNG Portovenere carrier berthed at the terminal.
