The key issue: The Singapore International Arbitration Center last week ruled in favour of a Shell-led consortium in a tax dispute with the Philippine government dating back to 2002 over production from the Malampaya gas field.

Interfax analysis: The decision by the Singapore International Arbitration Center in Shell’s legal battle over its Malampaya service contract paves the way for further investment in the Philippines’ biggest gas field.
