Don Riaroh – operations director of Bahari Resources, and previously chief geologist and director of exploration and production (E&P) at Kenya’s Energy Ministry – helped revise Kenya’s E&P laws in 1986, and used the experience to help the Comoran government write its new petroleum code last year. He spoke to Interfax about the code and the exploration potential of the three blocks Bahari holds to the west of the islands.

Interfax: Does the production sharing contract (PSC) and petroleum code in the Comoros Islands closely follow Kenya’s? Did you make any changes to the PSC to suit the specific needs of the Comoros?
