Upbeat for Egypt’s LNG exports

Egypt intends to become a regional gas hub, and LNG exports will be central to that plan. Sharply rising gas production from upstream projects including Zohr and West Nile Delta have enabled it to increase LNG supplies. And the country is working with regional governments to boost its liquefaction capacity as Israel and Cyprus consider commercialising part of their future gas output via Egyptian LNG plants.
