Upbeat for Israel’s gas and LNG exports

Israel’s FLNG dream has inched a step closer to reality with the involvement of Golar LNG and Exmar in a feasibility study on the concept. However, any vessel is not expected to be in place before 2025. The country has high hopes for eventually producing LNG exports from its Leviathan non-associated gas acreage, with the project’s first phase set to come online by the end of this year.
