The developers of Baltic Pipe – Danish transmission system operator Energinet and its Polish counterpart Gaz-System – have received a boost as the Danish environment agency has given its approval to build the pipeline’s onshore landing point on the east coast of Denmark. The decision means that Energinet can move to the next stage and seek approval from the 13 municipalities spanning the Danish onshore section of the pipeline.
