Growth in China's LNG imports slowed to the lowest level in more than three years on an annual basis in February, but low spot prices in the Asia Pacific region should support LNG demand from price-sensitive Chinese buyers in coming months.

China imported 4.35 mt of LNG in February, down from January's record high of 6.58 mt and the lowest volume in five months, according to figures released on Saturday by the General Administration of Customs. Last month’s imports were up by 9.7% from February 2018,...
