Bullish for LNG imports

Bangladesh started receiving LNG only recently, but expansion plans could see its import capacity double within the next six months.

The country’s first LNG terminal, the 3.75 mtpa Moheshkhali LNG (MLNG) facility, took its initial cargo in August. Petrobangla has 3.50 mtpa of supply contracts already secured for the facility.
