Ghana has paid $150 million of the $230 million it owes to the West African Gas Pipeline Co. (WAPCo), Ghana’s TodayInGH has reported.
The payment was made possible through the Energy Sector Levy Act, a tax applied to Ghana’s energy industry to stabilise the sector’s finances.
