Supplies of pipeline gas to Mexico are at risk from the slower pace of injections in the South Central Region (SCR) of the US.

The SCR has the largest storage capacity in the US and includes the key gas-producing states of Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma. The region had 33.42 bcm of gas in store for the week ending 30 September - a drop of 2.6% on an annual basis.
