Work is slowly continuing on West Africa Gas Limited’s (WAGL’s) planned FSRU at the port of Tema in Ghana, despite the fact that the project’s gas sales offtake agreement has still not been ratified by parliament.

Until the government gives its final approval, the startup date for the project – initially scheduled for June 2016 and then delayed until December – cannot be confirmed, but it looks unlikely to be until January or February next year at the earliest.
