Suppliers fight to gain Italian market share

Pipeline suppliers are increasing their gas shipments to Italy in a scramble for market share as the country’s domestic production continues to fall.

But although this competition could benefit Italy by leading to lower prices, it is bad news for the country’s chronically underused LNG terminals.
