Gazprom cut the price of gas exports to Lithuania by 20% after the Baltic state decided to build the Klaipeda LNG terminal, the country’s former Prime Minister Andrius Kubilius told MEPs in the European Parliament on Tuesday.

Official data shows the price Lithuania paid for gas fell by 5.4% between 2012 and 2013, hitting €359.5 ($384) per thousand cubic metres in the latter year, according to the European Commission’s EU Energy Markets in 2014 report.
