Italy aiming to be Med hub for LNG bunkering

Italy has big plans for LNG bunkering services, according to Gilberto Dialuce, director general for supply security and energy infrastructure at Italy’s Ministry of Economic Development. Dialuce told Interfax Natural Gas Daily about the scheme, which was relaunched recently with Italy’s new National Energy Strategy (NES).

Interfax Natural Gas Daily: You recently spoke about the idea of making Italy an LNG bunkering hub for the Mediterranean. Can you explain the plan in more detail?
