Although some of Europe’s largest economies are expected to see improved growth this year, the region as a whole is not.

Germany’s GDP growth is expected to be 2.3% this year, according to the latest forecast, up from 2.2% last year. Increased demand for exports and an improved outlook for economic growth worldwide are supporting Germany’s prospects.
