Russian exports to Europe are expected to rise on an annual basis in February.

Weaker demand dampened Europe’s need for Russian gas during January. However, Russian exports to Europe are likely to rise by around 2% year on year in February, to 16.6 bcm, according to GGA’s outlook. Stronger demand, bolstered by colder weather that hit much of Europe in early February, is supporting the rise in Russian imports.
