
Trinidad and Tobago’s government has trumpeted its agreement to import gas from Venezuela as a major boost for the country’s supply-hit LNG and petrochemicals industries.
There is little doubt the deal is a big win for the Caribbean country, but there have been rumbles of discontent over the opacity of the agreement. Several aspects of the deal have not been disclosed, including the price for the imports.
