CBM explorer Sino Oil & Gas Holdings (Sino O&G) plans to raise the price of gas sold from its Sanjiao CBM project in Shanxi province, capitalising on increases to China’s city-gate gas prices that took effect last week.
The company announced on Tuesday it had agreed with joint venture partner PetroChina to increase the selling price of output from the project, and would be negotiating the extent of the increase with buyers.
