Sharjah National Oil Corp. (SNOC) was set up in 2010 to take over the emirate of Sharjah’s gas assets, which were first developed in the 1970s. Little onshore exploration work has been carried out in recent years, but SNOC is now looking to boost exploration activity and commissioned a seismic survey that was completed in February.
