Brazil must roll out the red carpet for investors if it is to realise its ambitions as a serious destination for shale gas exploration, experts have told Interfax Natural Gas Daily.

“Brazil needs to build the foundation necessary to begin attracting investment,” said Renee Klimczak, managing director of Houston-based consultancy Galway Group. “This includes implementing regulatory policies that allow development of shale fields and favourable fiscal regimes,” she added.
