Kenai LNG to restart exports in May – ConocoPhillips

Kenai LNG, the United States’s only operational LNG plant, will restart exports in May, ConocoPhillips said on Thursday.

Kenai LNG, the United States’s only operational LNG plant, will restart exports in May, ConocoPhillips said on Thursday.

The 1.5 mtpa plant in Alaska started exports in 1969, when its first cargo was delivered to Japan.

In May 2014 Conoco sent out the first cargo after an 18-month break at the plant, and has renewed its export licence to deliver up to 1.1 billion cubic metres of gas over the next two years.
