Northeast Asian storage builds are expected to pick up.

South Korea had just 1.4 bcm of gas in stock at the end of the peak winter demand period, down by around 28% year on year. Meanwhile, Japan had 6.2 bcm of gas in stock at the start of March, up by 6% on an annual basis. The need to build stored volumes over the coming months is expected to support Japanese and South Korean LNG imports.
