China’s economic outlook has improved.
China’s GDP growth could reach 6.6% in 2018, according to recent forecasts, up from a previous outlook of 6.4%. While the higher level of growth would support increased energy demand, it is not expected to have a material impact on gas consumption, which is already forecast to grow by around 11% on an annual basis during the summer.
