Average LNG import prices in Northeast Asia are set to rise further.

Japan’s average LNG import price rose by 16% on an annual basis in February, to $9.1/MMBtu. Strong year-on-year gains were also seen in average prices in South Korea, which rose by around 24%, to $9.9/MMBtu, and China, where a 24% rise took prices up to $8.7/MMBtu.
