Despite delays and cost issues, Australia’s Ichthys LNG project looks likely to start operations in the coming weeks.

The 4.45 mtpa first train at Ichthys is expected to start up in late March/early April. Train 2 is expected to be commissioned later in the year and will bring the facility’s overall capacity to 8.9 mtpa.
