Downbeat for Argentine LNG demand

Rising gas production in Argentina has provided a glimmer of hope that it can once again become a net exporter of gas. The government has even started drawing up plans to increase exports of pipeline gas and start exporting LNG while halting imports of both forms of the fuel. Nevertheless, Argentina’s vulnerability to economic and currency crises could pose a problem.
