With the Paris Agreement having come into force on 4 November, national climate change plans for the world’s largest gas markets are now legally binding. At least 55 countries, representing at least 55% of global emissions, had to ratify the agreement for it to come into force.

In this Research Note, we look at the impact of climate change policies and emission reduction plans on the major markets and provide our view on the potential impact on gas demand.
