
ExxonMobil is throwing its full might behind the Rovuma Basin LNG project in Mozambique, flying hundreds of workers into Maputo to condense three years of project planning into 18 months. It submitted a revised plan of development (POD) for the project to the Mozambique government last week, which clarifies several details that were missing in the initial POD it submitted last July. Exxon now plans to take FID within seven months.
