A combination of Chinese tariffs and higher shipping costs will see more US LNG delivered into Europe over the over the next few years, delegates at the KNect365 LNGgc conference in London heard on Tuesday.

However, whether this trend continues in the long term will depend on the strength of Europe’s gas demand and the competitiveness of US LNG compared with other supply sources.
