Belarusian mining company Slavkaliy has started construction on a new 43-km gas pipeline linking Belarus’s gas network to the company’s new Nezhinsky potash mining and processing factory in Lyuban District of Minsk, Belarus News reported on Tuesday.
The pipeline will run from the village of Dubeyi in Soligorsk District to the Nezhinsky factory.
Slavkaliy started construction of the Nezhinsky facility in 2016.
The project involves the construction of a processing plant, a gas-fired power plant, railway infrastructure, access roads and residential facilities.
