
LNG from the United States is not living up to expectations. Project developers had high hopes given the cheaply available feedstock gas but the uncertainty around global LNG demand remains a challenge, and will delay several proposed developments. US LNG will need to overcome structural issues related to pricing if it is to boost its appeal on the global market.
